Judicial Independence

The election of state judges has become increasingly partisan and expensive, raising concerns about whether judges are, and are perceived to be, genuinely independent, impartial, and fair. The following are highlights of recent work on Judicial Independence; for a complete list of Judicial Independence grants, see program grants list.
